Hurdles Masterclass 2011
Featuring Gary Winckler
Gary Winckler is widely regarded as one of the world’s best hurdles coaches. Dating back to 1992 Winckler has had an athlete compete in every World Championship and Olympic Games. His particular area of expertise is in the women’s sprint hurdles event where he has most recently coached World Indoor and Outdoor Champion Perdita Felicien and World Indoor Record holder Susanna Kallur.
Energy Systems - 14th November
This Masterclass will explain energy systems and Gary will elaborate on the energy systems table he has produced. There will be explanations of extensive tempo, intensive tempo, speed, speed endurance, special endurance I and special endurance II and how they relate to training theory.
Female Sprint Hurdling - 15th, 16th & 17th November
The Master Classes will cover the technical fundamentals of female sprint hurdling.
